On Sunday 6th December hundreds of runners and walkers will be dancing and prancing 5km around Central Park, Chelmsford to raise money for Farleigh Hospice in their annual Santa Fun Run sponsored by Clifford Thames.
The team members from Clifford Thames are running in memory of their colleague Roger Raffell, former Finance Director at the local company who sadly passed away earlier this year following a battle with cancer. Roger was supported by Farleigh both in the hospice and at home and his wife Janet will be starting the race on Sunday.
Pauline Harvey-Jones, Commercial Director of Farleigh Hospice says, “We are always grateful for support from local companies and we are always happy to hear that our events are bringing people together to remember and celebrate those dear to them.”
If you want to join in the festive fun in aid of a local cause, you can still register on the day. Just head to farleighhospice.org/santa to find out more.
