CT’s hugely successful Online Booking system continues to gain momentum, with plaudits from clients old and new.
 
Recent developments have seen a nomination for OLB by SEAT in the Best Manufacturer – Digital Initiative awards category of the Automotive Management magazine awards, with CT’s OLB recognised as a key driver in SEAT’s Digital Marketing Initiative.  
   
In nominating CT’s OLB system, SEAT Cars UK cited the facts that Online Booking has provided SEAT’s customers with 24 hour access, Transparent - National Pricing and the ability to book Dealer Fit Accessories and Tyres. This has resulted in 40% of customers placing their bookings at a time more convenient to themselves (outside of opening hours) and, that of the £1,000,000 plus bookings, 40% were from new or lapsed customers.

ŠKODA –  CT at Retailer Conference

Clifford Thames has joined the ranks of ‘Key After-Sales Suppliers’ to the Volkswagen Group after being awarded contracts to provide Online Booking to both SEAT UK and ŠKODA UK. As a result, CT was asked to provide support at the ŠKODA - Annual End Of Year Retailer Conference.

Mark Mallison of CT said: “Our role was to speak to and advise retailers, demonstrating Best Practice and how they could make the most of the Online Booking System.
“As well as providing general support, we were able to demonstrate the new features for the ŠKODA OLB system such as Tyres, Accessories and the Mobile Optimised version for 2014.”

Going Mobile – SEAT & ŠKODA OLB

In a further development SEAT and ŠKODA gave CT’s Dealer Services the go-ahead to build a Mobile Optimised version of their OLB pages, to compliment and support the already successful Desk Top versions.

SEAT had reported that on average, 60% of all direct electronic marketing they send is opened on a mobile device such as an iPhone or Android phone....a real driver to launch the mobile site.

James Farthing of CT added: “Whilst we recognise that we do have competitors in the market place, it seems that Clifford Thames has managed to steal the march on most and so far has led the way with Online Booking. Our Mobile optimised version is currently providing our clients with a Unique Selling Point over other OEMs.”
