As Essex Dementia Care send a big thank you to staff at Clifford Thames for raising nearly £4k through activities last year, employees have this year voted to support children’s charity Kids Inspire.
Kids Inspire help disadvantaged young people in Essex and were nominated as the Chelmsford office charity of the year 2017. Activity for the cause has kicked off with a staff BBQ and summer party held in the grounds of Clifford Thames’ Springfield office which hosted a prosecco van, racing simulator, face painting, games, BBQ and personal appearances from Oxford United Football Club (sponsored by CT) Malachi Napa and goalkeeper Manny Agboola. Staff and their families in Chelmsford raised a huge £1,470 from the day and despite the overcast day everyone had a great time.
Staff are looking to raise more money over the coming months and if last year was anything to go by activities may include bake sales, parties, quiz nights, wet sponge stocks, a bad shirt competition and a naked 5k race!
